【IIR news】

On June 8, 2026 the Institute of International Relations, in collaboration with School of Operations and Supply Chain Management at San Jose State University (SJSC) and College of Intelligent Computing and Quantum Information at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), hosted an International Conference on National Security and Supply Chain Management: AI Applications and Beyond at National Chengchi University (NCCU).

The Conference highlighted a special report on Towards an AI Superpower? An Analysis of China’s Technological Advancement at the opening session and fruitful interdisciplinary exchanges among scholars and experts across study fields in international relations and national security, business and industrial management, as well as economic development. More than 60 participants showed up, including 15 research presenters and 10 discussants in five academic panels. 

The event was co-organized by Dr. Chyungly Lee (NCCU), Janet Tan (SJCU), and I Elizabeth Cha (CYCU).
