Former Vice Minister of National Defense and Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, currently an Emeritus Professor at National Defense University, Professor Lin Chong-pin is recruiting a personal assistant.
Education:
Graduate students or current undergraduate students are preferred.
Job Description:
Research assistant–related tasks, working two days per month.
Duties include document scanning, formatting, online posting, and file archiving.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Word, operation of a scanner, and blog management.
Working Hours:
Every other Monday (twice a month), from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Lunch is provided (either a purchased meat lunchbox or a lacto-ovo vegetarian home-style meal).
Work Location:
Professor Lin's private residence (near Xindian District Office MRT Station).
Salary:
In accordance with the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) student assistant standards.
Master's students: NT$2,000 per day
Undergraduate students: NT$1,500 per day
Payment is made in cash on the working day.
Start Date:
August 2026 (exact date negotiable).
Basic Requirements (first two are mandatory):
Detail-oriented.
Interest in international politics, cross-strait relations, and China studies.
Interest in photography, art, classical music, and religion is a plus.
