On the afternoon of November 26, Associate Professor Tadahiro Ishihara of the Master’s Program in Japan Studies led a group of graduate students to the Cultural Affairs Department of the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association (JTEA) Taipei Office for an academic visit. Mr. Naoya Araki, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department, delivered a presentation covering the association's research support initiatives, its organizational structure, his personal experiences serving in Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the evolving dynamics of Japan-Taiwan relations. Director Araki extended an invitation to the students to participate in future exchange activities hosted by the JTEA and encouraged them to deepen their understanding of Japanese society and culture. Following the session, Director Araki provided extensive research guidance and feedback, leaving the students with invaluable insights for their academic pursuits.
