On the afternoon of September 12, the Master’s Program in Japan Studies welcomed a delegation of 15 faculty and students from Kwansei Gakuin University for an academic exchange seminar. This event marked the first international exchange for the incoming Class of 2024 master's students. The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including Taiwan-Japan political culture, youth social engagement, Taiwan’s relations with China, and regional environmental issues in Taiwan. Following the seminar, students from our program guided the guests on a tour of the Dah Hsian Lectures Library. Both Taiwanese and Japanese participants gained significant insights from this event, fostering both cultural understanding and professional academic growth.
