On March 7, 2024, the Master’s Program in Japan Studies hosted a relay lecture series in Room 271112, North Wing of the General Building. The event was moderated by Professor Masaaki Kuboniwa, a Visiting Professor of the program. Three distinguished scholars from Japan were invited to deliver keynote speeches and engage in thematic discussions: Professor Arata Abe (Faculty of Global and Science Studies, Yamaguchi University): "Where Do Japan’s End-of-Life Vehicles Go?" Professor Yusuke Nakatani (Faculty of Service Management, Seibu Bunri University): "Japan’s Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) and the Economic Impact of Travel and Tourism." Professor Fumikazu Sugiura (Faculty of Economics, Teikyo University): "Japan’s Reformist Bureaucrats."
