On the afternoon of November 15th, the Japanese Studies program led a delegation led by Tadahiro Ishihara, assistant professor of this program, to lead graduate students of this program and students who are interested in political groups to the Youth League of the Central Party Headquarters of the Kuomintang of China for a visit and exchange. The Chinese Kuomintang was received by its Youth League CEO Deng Kaixun and other members, who introduced the political party stance of the Chinese Kuomintang, including analysis of political issues such as "pro-America, friendship with Japan, and China" and the 1992 Consensus. Students from this program who attended the meeting also actively asked questions and exchanged views, hoping to further understand the KMT youth‵s stance on cross-Strait relations, the current presidential election situation, and generational issues within the party. Students from this program benefited a lot.
